Product Description

Sunlight Shading Laminated Glass

It is a type of safety glazing constructed by uniting two sheets of glass (one is sunlight shading glass) with a sturdy interlayer (PVB film or Sentry Glas Plus/SGP) and applying heat and pressure to create an inseparable bond.

Sunlight shading glass (Heat reflective coated glass or solar control glass) is produced by sputtering special materials onto high-quality float glass under a vacuum environment. This process accurately controls solar energy direct radiation reflectance, transmission, absorption, and coating colors.

Key Features
  • Enhanced Safety: Will not break as easily as standard glass. When shattered, the broken glass stays on the film and in the frame instead of falling out.
  • Acoustic Insulation: Effectively reduces noise transmission.
  • High Security: Provides security from forced entry and environmental threats such as tornadoes or hurricanes.
  • UV Screening: The interlayer filters out ultraviolet rays, preventing furniture and curtains from fading.
  • Decorative Function: Ideal visible transmission and reflective ratios provide excellent decorative performance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What are the primary benefits of sunlight shading laminated glass? A: It offers superior safety by holding fragments together if broken, reduces solar heat gain, filters UV rays to protect interiors, and provides excellent sound insulation.
Q2: Can the glass be customized in terms of shape and color? A: Yes, we offer both flat and bent/curved forms. Substrate colors include clear, bronze, grey, green, and blue reflective options.
Q3: Which international certifications does the glass meet? A: Our glass products are certified by AS/NZS (Australia/New Zealand), CE (Europe), SGCC/ANSI (USA), and CCC (China).
Q4: What is the maximum size available for laminated glass? A: We can produce specifications up to a maximum size of 2440mm * 21000mm.
Q5: What interlayers are used in the laminating process? A: We use high-quality interlayers including clear PVB, SGP (Sentry Glass Plus), PDLC film, and EVA from trusted brands like DuPont and Saflex.
Q6: What are the typical lead times and packing methods? A: Delivery typically ranges from 7 to 25 days. Products are securely packed in professional wooden cases or customized packaging to ensure safe transit.
