Product Description
6.38mm to 40.28 mm PVB Clear Flat or Curved Toughened Tempered Laminated Glass
Laminated Glass is a high-quality safety glass manufactured using advanced bonding technology. It consists of two or more sheets of glass permanently bonded together with one or more PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) interlayers. Under heat and pressure, the assembly becomes a single unit. In the event of accidental breakage, the glass fragments adhere to the interlayer, minimizing the risk of injury.
Key Features
🛡️ Extremely High Safety
Firmly adhered layers prevent the glass from falling after breakage, ensuring the impactor does not penetrate.
🌱 Energy Efficiency
Effectively reduces solar heat gain and transmittance, especially with tinted or low-transmittance interlayers.
🔇 Superior Sound Control
PVB interlayers act as a damping material to absorb sound waves and inhibit noise pollution.
☀️ UV Protection
Filters out harmful ultraviolet rays, preventing furniture, carpets, and curtains from fading.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between annealed and tempered laminated glass?
Annealed laminated glass uses standard float glass, while tempered laminated glass uses toughened glass for much higher strength and thermal resistance. Both provide safety features by adhering to the PVB interlayer upon breakage.
Can laminated glass reduce noise pollution?
Yes, the PVB interlayer is an effective sound absorber. It significantly reduces noise transmission, making it ideal for buildings near airports, highways, or busy urban areas.
What is the maximum size available for tempered laminated glass?
The maximum production size is 12,000mm * 3,300mm, allowing for large-scale architectural designs and curtain wall installations.
Does the PVB film protect against fading?
Yes, the interlayer filters out up to 99% of ultraviolet (UV) rays, which helps prevent furniture, artworks, and flooring from fading over time.
What certifications does this glass product hold?
The products comply with international standards including Europe CE, USA SGCC/IGCC, UK BSI, France Cekal, and Australia CSI certificates.
How long is the typical delivery time?
Standard delivery is generally within 3 weeks after order confirmation. In-stock items may be available within 1 week.
