U-profile glass originates from Austria and has been produced for over 35 years in Germany. As one of the typical materials used on large-scale building projects, U-profile glass is applied extensively in Europe and America. Its application in China dates back to the 1990s, becoming an international design trend.

Produced via computer-controlled smelting furnaces, U-profile glass maintains excellent quality and precision. Its high mechanical strength allows it to be fixed on high-rise buildings, reducing the need for extra vertical and horizontal underpinning. It features superior lighting, heat insulation, sound protection, and environment-friendly properties.

• Pear-grain: A hammered pearl or orange peel texture providing moderate translucency with excellent light scattering.

• Ultra Clear (Low Iron): Produced with low iron raw materials, resulting in an almost colorless glass with a slight greenish cast, favored by architects.

4. Advanced Tempering Process

The tempering process supports channel glass up to 20' long using custom tempering ovens designed for three-dimensional shapes. Tempered channel glass undergoes heat treatment to reach compression levels of 10,000 psi or greater.

This process makes the glass three to four times stronger than annealed glass. It is recognized as safety glass due to its "dicing" break pattern—small, harmless fragments that reduce the risk of injury from sharp edges.
