High transparency switchable smart glass (6+6 laminated) utilizes advanced PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) film technology. The light scattering power is adjustable through an electric field. When the power is off, visible light scatters through the PDLC, turning the film opaque; when the power is on, visible light transmits through the PDLC, making the glass clear.
The self-adhesive PDLC film provides a simple and cost-effective alternative to integrated switchable technology. It features a cling layer on one side (peel and stick), allowing it to be applied directly to existing glass surfaces for instantaneous privacy control.
