Product Description

Tempered Glass is a safety annealed glass, produced by heating glass in a tempering furnace to the softening point of 620ºC and then quickly cooling it with cold air. This technique creates compressive stress on the surface and tensile stress inside, providing superior bending and shock resistance—making it 4-5 times stronger than standard glass.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes tempered glass safer than regular glass?
Tempered glass is physically stronger and, if broken, it shatters into small, obtuse-angled fragments instead of sharp shards, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
What is the maximum size available for curved tempered glass?
We can accept custom sizes with a maximum specification of up to 3660*11, allowing for large-scale architectural applications.
How does the glass withstand temperature changes?
Our physically tempered glass is designed to withstand large temperature differences, making it ideal for both interior and exterior building applications.
What thickness options do you offer?
We provide a wide range of thickness options from 3mm to 19mm to suit various industrial and furniture needs.
How is the glass protected during international shipping?
The glass is interleaved with fresh paper to prevent scratching and packed in standard, seaworthy wooden or plywood crates for maximum protection during transport.
Can this glass be used for furniture?
Yes, it is widely used for table tops, shower enclosures, furniture components, and home appliances due to its attractive appearance and high endurance.
